Merlin Gerin Comet S11 UPS

Here at work we are currently using an Merlin Gerin (MGE) S11 UPS to supply our equipment with emergency power when power fails.

It has an external battery pack that will supply power for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes at normal load (8 amps).

As this UPS is currently end-of-life at Merlin Gerin I have supplied the documentation here.

We have another unit standing by as backup UPS, however we believe its broken :(

UPDATE: At the moment we are using both MGE Comet S11 upsen in our colocation room. They are both being monitored by NUT which sends us an SMS message to our mobile phones if there are any power related issues. They are providing 9.2 and 3.7 amps respectively. They also generate a nice clean output voltage of 229 volt (deviation less then 1%).

we r using the merlin gerin make ups since last 5 years . it was working well till this january. but now its not giving the proper backup , we have replaced the old batteries then also its not working fine
plz guide us on the same. now its giving backup for only 40 min rather it should backup of 4 hrs
